Annual HD Update – 2007 (Part 1)

2007 was a very busy year for Kathryn making public appearances. This update, the latest in the KM UK Summer Of HD, covering the first part of the year has a strong motor racing theme running through it.

Kathryn was invited to take part in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race event, a support category for the main ChampCar race at the Toyota Grand Prix Of Long Beach. This involved a training day, a press day, a glamorous gala (some of my favourite KM photos) and the race day itself. Kathryn even got a brief cameo in The Girls Next Door show at the same event, as previously covered. There are now 19 new/upgraded to larger sizes images across those four albums.

A slightly more tenuous motor racing link for the next set. You hear the name Monte Carlo and you immediately think of casinos and Formula 1 cars. The diminutive principality also hosts an annual TV Festival. Kathryn attended various events to promote Cold Case in Europe. For this update 36 images from two photocalls get the “embiggening” treatment. A slightly red in the cheeks Kathryn in 12 photos here and Kathryn very much enjoying herself in front of the press in 22 photos here.

Annual HD Update – 2006 (Part 2)

To round out the 2006 public appearance Summer Of HD updates enlarged images from another 2 events have been added to the Gallery:

First the The Museum Of Television & Radio event honouring Leslie Moonves (President of CBS) and Jerry Bruckheimer (über-producer). 5 photos have been updated.
And early December had Kathryn all buttoned up in a striking red coat as she arrived at the Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women In Entertainment Power 100 Breakfast. Phew! They really go for it with these event names! All nine images in this set get super-sized.

Annual HD Update – 2006 (Part 1)

It’s was very much awards season in the first half of 2006 for Kathryn as she made several public appearances at a variety of events. This week KM UK brings you another pair of Summer Of HD updates, making the biggest and best versions of the photos available.

So what do we have for you this time?

The Costume Designers Guild Awards saw Kathryn in a great off-the-shoulder red dress posing for some quite enigmatic shots (see above). The smile couldn’t help but put in an appearance though It’s the last 5 in the set, the photoshoot ones that have been upgraded.
Kathryn looked very cute at Prism Awards with her simple hair-down style and long dress. Bigger versions of the final 2 photos have been posted.
A more glammed up Kathryn went to the Country Music Awards to present a trophy. It’s the press room and portrait shots we are concentrating on here as they get the full-sized treatment. Just the last 3 of the arrivals but all 8 portrait shots get boosted.

Annual HD Update - 2005 (Part 2)

Here’s the second part of our Summer Of HD updates covering Kathryn’s 2005 public appearances.

The three events here really span the whole gamut of outfits. Simple jeans to full-on fairy princess dress. From the sublime to the sublimer, or perhaps that should be the sublimer to the sublime

I don’t think we get to see Kathryn in the likes of the CDGA dress again until last year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards But, as the other two sets prove there is almost nothing that beats the classic jeans and t-shirt combo. Though I’m not sure Kathryn has got the jeans on the right way around in the “Idol” finale shots. Unless that peculiar buttoned flap is supposed to be at the front…

Annual HD Update - 2005 (Part 1)

2005 was quite a busy year for Kathryn on the public appearance front and as we’ve got quite a few images to update from them (as part of KM UK’s Summer Of HD posts) we’ve split this year into two. The second part will be posted later in the week.

First we have a couple of shots from the TCA Winter Press Tour for the shoe enthusiasts amongst you. Or perhaps that should be “foot fetishists”. Personally I’m tend to focus a few feet higher (see what I did there? ) but I’m happy to make an exception in this case.

Next up we have 15 larger images from the première of the movie The Wedding Date, starring Will & Grace actress Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney. Only the two photos, the 1st and 11th of the set are as before.

Annual HD Update - 2004

The year: 2004. The event: The People’s Choice Awards. The look: very, very cute

This set of photo upgrades (part of KM UK’s Summer Of HD posts) covers the People’s Choice Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards of 2004. Kathryn is always this person’s choice but there is no way Kathryn could win a sag award

I’m not sure about the white and yellow SAG Awards dress, maybe it was all the rage in ‘04, but the simple black number and the hair style for the PCA’s… Wow! And there she goes again with that smile…

All but one photo in each of the sets has been upgraded to a larger size.

Annual HD Update - 2003

As an additional part of KM UK’s Summer Of HD posts I’ll be upgrading some of the past Public Appearance photos to full size, having had to previously shrink some for technical reasons. I’ll most likely post these in batches based on the year, possibly splitting the busier years up.

Let’s start with 2003 and the première of the movie Paycheck. 8 of the images have now been upgraded. The image descriptions will show which have been changed. Kathryn looks great in her red dress and ever present smile.

Eating Out With Kathryn

We’ve been a bit uncertain about Kathryn’s whereabouts since the announcement she would not be attending the Monte Carlo TV festival. Did anyone check down the back of the sofa? Well call off the search party. She’s turned up. In California. Typical!

Yesterday (13 June 2010) Kathryn was at the 21st running of the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Picnic benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

9 HQ photos have emerged so far. You can find them in the Gallery. All very much what we’d expect of our wonderful lady: beautiful in her casual look.

Monte Carlo Or Bust? Update

It looks like the answer is “bust”. Never thought saying that in relation to Kathryn would be as depressing as it is

It is being reported by the Premiere.fr website that Kathryn’s attendance at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, previously reported on KM UK here, has been cancelled. The article in question can be found here in its original French form and English with a Google translation here.

This a great shame. I was greatly looking forward to bringing you news and images of Kathryn enjoying herself in the South of France. OK, I really wanted to see the photos myself, but sharing them with you all would have been good too No reason is given for Kathryn’s withdrawal but the fact that Cold Case has not been renewed for an 8th season may play a part.

Kathryn At Levi Studio Day 3 - Revisited

One of the reasons for moving KM UK to a new system was too allow the Gallery to cope with larger images. Technical limitations on the old host prevented going above a certain size. Not any more.

In a great bit of timing, and some luck, I can now make use of the improvement to bring you much bigger and better quality version of photos of Kathryn at the Levi Studio event from mid-April. Plus, there’s an extra image.

There are now 3 large and HQ images in the gallery of Kathryn at this event, replacing the 2 small but still good quality ones.
