In these difficult times for so many people we need to focus on and highlight the good news as much as we can.
Today is a day worth marking and celebrating because it is Kathryn’s birthday. I think I can confidently say I speak for all us when pass on our best wished to the birthday girl.

 Happy Thanksgiving from KM UK to Kathryn, her boys, and all our friends in America
2020 has been a difficult year for so many people and it isn’t quite over yet. There are reasons to be optimistic for the future and hopefully the worst of the current situation is behind us, with just a few months to go.
If there is anything we can all take away from the experience, it should be reasons to be thankful for what we have.
It may be less than the traditional Thanksgiving celebrations for our American friends but please do not risk your, or other’s, health and safety. Better to endure for a short period of time now for the greater good in the longer term.
Do spare a thought for those less fortunate than you.
This year we are using one of Lolly‘s wallpapers to decorate this post. It it one of hundreds of fan-created works of art in the KM UK Gallery.
 Happy 4th of July to Kathryn and all KM UK’s friends in the US.
In these difficult times we have to make some changes. Unfortunately this year the banner image had to undergo a minor addition to reflect that. Obviously the last thing I’d want to do would be cover Kathryn’s beautiful face, but we all have to make sacrifices. My preferred option would be for her to lift the flag she’s already wearing sufficiently to protect herself, but… well… sadly not 
Happy 4th of July to the USA. Please be careful for the 2020-specific reas0n, and because I know, to quote the Simpsons, you like to “celebrate the independence of your nation by blowing up a small part of it.”
Normally in these annual posts, I thank smallbarbie for creating the above image. It’s part of the tradition on this site. However, this time I feel should apologise to both her and Kathryn for butchering their works of art.
