Hayseed At Another Hole In The Head

In a couple of weeks time, the new movie Hayseed will be getting an airing courtesy of the 2022 Another Hole In The Head film festival.

For those that need a catch-up (this site certainly does!), Hayseed is a new independent crime thriller/mystery/comedy in which Kathryn has a small role. See the previous KM UK post about it HERE.

The San Francisco-based AHITH festival is primarily horror-focused but they do venture in to sci-fi and other genres as they see fit.

Hayseed has been added to the official selection for the 2022 running of the event. However, as far as I can tell the film is not being screened in a theatre setting, but rather only via an online stream. This appears to be limited to members and is also geo-locked to the California area and will be available over the 3 days from the 16th-18th December 2022.

Ante Up For Autism 2019

A few weeks ago we posted a few images of Kathryn and kids at a recent Ante Up For Autism funding raising event.

They came as something as a pleasant surprise as they’d got passed us at the time.

Stumbling across those photos did send me down something of a rabbit hole. though

Be vewy, vewy quiet, I’m hunting wabbits!

Didn’t find any rabbits. Got something much, much better…. A couple of really great photos of Kathryn at the previous Ante Up For Autism event in 2019. She looks knock-out in red on the red carpet.

15th Annual Ante Up For Autism

Unlike our regular ’15 years on’ Cold Case posts for this update we only have to go back one month to the 25th September 2021.

As part of Kathryn’s advocacy and support of autism charities, she and her boys attended the 15th Annual Ante Up For Autism event. The gambling-themed fund raising evening, hence the ‘Ante Up’ name, was organised by TACA and the Warne Foundation.

Advertising Week New York 2021

This is turning into a busy week… for Kathryn.

After her appearance on breakfast/daytime television and the posting of an article she’d written about her experiences as a mother to twin boys with autism, Kathryn turned up at Advertising Week in New York.

On Wednesday (20th Oct) at The Creative Showcase Stage, Kathryn sat down with Tom Ajello, senior partner at the Lippencott creative consultancy. They discussed the founding of her The Savants initiative and the journey she has gone through since the diagnosis of her children.

I must admit to being a little puzzled by this one. Not sure how this fits together. Maybe Advertising Week is about more than just those 4 minute-long interruptions in our favourite TV shows and distracting images on websites.

If it helps get Kathryn’s message out and that in turn helps others then it can only be a good thing.

Hopefully we can bring you more on the event in the not too distant future.
