The first poster for Moneyball has been released.

As has become usual for this film the only cast members listed are Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman. No mention of Kathryn or Robin Wright.

The small print of the image does not list any of the cast at all. Believe me. I’ve checked.

Sundance Festival 2007 Photoshoot Upgrade

The image above has to be my favourite image of Kathryn of all time.

There’s just something about it. Kathryn looks so small against such an expanse of wall. Her pale skin and golden hair almost match the backdrop, heightening the effect. Is she thinking deeply about something? I don’t want to disturb her because she looks so peaceful. Yet, I also want go in there hug her as she looks so delicate. OK, the hug thing is not limited to this photo 😉

Mark Mainz is responsible for this great photoshoot, done as part of a promotion for the film Resurrecting The Champ at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007. The 15 images have been in the Gallery since the beginning but they have now been upgraded to full-size. It’s not a big change but every extra pixel counts 😉

Moneyball TV Trailer

A couple of days ago the TV trailer for Moneyball was first broadcast. It differs quite a lot from the theatrical trailer we’ve already seen. It is the same in one key aspect though: no sign of Kathryn.

Thom Barry Cast In New Movie

Of the all Cold Case cast we like Kathryn the best here of course, but I think we all have a big soft spot for Thom Barry. And we haven’t mentioned him here nearly enough. So, to go some way to correct that, here is some news about an upcoming role for the gentle giant.

Thom’s quiet authority and screen presence has seen him play lawmen on many occasions in his career and now he’s going to do it again in a sequel to the horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Thom has been cast as Sheriff Hooper, surely a nod to Tobe Hooper, the director of the original version.

Short-lived Cold Case guest star Tania Raymonde (more famous for her role of Benjamin Linus’ daughter in the TV series Lost) also stars.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is due for release by Lionsgate in October 2012. You can read more about the announcement on ComingSoon.net.
