L.A. Firefighters

L.A. Firefighters was a short-lived TV series from 1996. The show followed the lives of, believe it or not, a company of firefighters in the Los Angeles Fire Department. The presence of female fire officers in such a male dominated environment being a key issue they dealt with.

Only the first season’s six episodes ever aired. The real L.A. Firefighters Union were none too pleased at the they way were portrayed and disassociated themselves from the show. A reworking for the second season, including a name change to Fire Co. 132, came to nought and it was never broadcast. The first season has rarely, if ever, been repeated.

Kathryn was in three episodes from that first season playing a woman called Helen Regan. Helen was the wife of one of the crew killed in the line of duty at the end of the pilot episode. In the trio episodes Helen attends the funeral of her husband and spends time with another fireman, Jack, who has decided to look after his departed colleague’s widow and children. She then announces she is leaving for Seattle to live near her brother.

A very small collection of small screencaps has been in the Gallery for some time but I have now added a few more and organised them by episode. Sadly the additions are even smaller and of lower quality than the existing ones, but many thanks to our friends at The Elizabeth Mitchell Fan Club for kindly donating them. Elizabeth, best known now for her role in Lost, starred as the wife of a fireman in L.A. Firefighters.

Jack Goes Boating, Sept 2010 – Return Journey

Today we have another quick update to photos from last year.

All 9 of the smaller images from Kathryn’s appearance at the previously posted Jack Goes Boating premiere of last September have been upgraded to larger sizes. Plus, there is one new photo, albeit of rather poor quality.

Heroes Picnic, June 2010 – Back For Seconds – Update

A quick update to end the week.

I’ve added 4 more photos to the Gallery from the A Time For Hereos Celebrity Picnic that we covered back in June of last year. They are only medium sized but obviously the content goes along way towards making up for that

Birthday Fan Art + Video Project

We are rapidly approaching the special day of a certain special lady. Yes, Kathryn’s birthday is just a few weeks away (28 Jan). Wouldn’t it be great to celebrate the event with some new birthday themed fan art to go with our best wishes?

Kate Spade Dinner – June 2008

Let’s get 2011 off to the best start possible with some lovely HQ images of the amazing Kathryn Morris at her most beautiful best.

This is another post that falls into the category of “been in the gallery for ages but never posted about.” I’m using the excuse (not that any excuse is needed ) of a recently discovered new photo (albeit very similar to the others) and HQ updates to many of the existing ones.

We’re going back to June 2008 for the dinner hosted by fashion accessory designer Kate Spade to mark the launch of a new range of bags. Kathryn attended the event with many other celebs, including Roselyn Sanchez (above) and ‘Til Death star Joely Fisher.

These are some of my favourite photos of Kathryn. She looks so bright and fresh, helped no doubt by the crisp blue and white outfit. Gorgeous.
