AOAHSP – “Coming Soon”

poster I’ve seen reports of an Assassination Of A High School President preview trailer appearing on some recent US DVD releases. So far Powder Blue and What Goes Up (a Sony Pictures release, as AOAHSP is likely to be) have been mentioned. Neither, apparently, gave an actual release date for the film, just a “Coming Soon” message.

It may not be definitive proof, but it does at least suggest that the intention is to release AOAHSP on DVD in the near future.

In case you needed reminding Kathryn has a small role in AOAHSP playing Nurse Platt.

Media Alert – Minority Report on BBC1

BBC1 is showing Minority Report on Sunday, 21 June 2009 at 10pm. More details can be found on the BBC’s website here.

Kathryn has a medium-sized role in the film, appearing at various stages throughout. She plays Lara, the ex-wife of John (Tom Cruise), they separated after the loss of their son. Lara does not play a significant part in the action of the movie, but is important in fleshing out John’s backstory. Lara’s short dark hair is quite a change from the long blonde locks we normally associate with Kathryn.

Media Alerts

From time-to-time I will post news of appearances by Kathryn on UK based media outlets, this is KM UK after all. I will call these Media Alerts. Primarily this will be news of films and TV shows starring Kathryn being broadcast on British TV channels. Hopefully this will be of use to my fellow UK-based KM fans.

I won’t be posting about every episode of Cold Case that Sky shows on its various channels (1, 2 & 3). Of course, if there is significant news such as Sky1 starting season 7 or Sky 3 starting season 5 then that will be posted.

Terminator Salvation Premiere

I’m a little bit late to the party with this one, luckily Kathryn wasn’t This event happened on the 14th of May 2009. Of course this site didn’t even exist at the time, even though images have been in Gallery from day one. I added some more pictures from this event yesterday so I’m using that as an excuse for this post.

Apparently we have to give credit to a Kaufman Franco for the great dress Kathryn is wearing (I don’t know fashion at all). To him/her/them I say a big “thank you”. Kathryn looks spectacular! Truly gorgeous!

KM UK Exclusive! AOAHSP Video Clip

A video covering Kathryn’s role in Assassination Of A High School President has been added to the Gallery. The clip is only 1 minute long, because that’s all there is to see. There is no audio track on the clip.

The latest news on the film’s DVD release is not good. Walmart’s website has pushed the release date back over 3 months to 13 October 2009.
