Good Friday Just Got Even Better – Minority Report On BBC2

It’s been nearly three years since BBC last broadcast the Steven Spielberg directed, Tom Cruise starring, sci-fi action film Minority Report. It formed the basis of this site’s first “Media Alert”, posts that notify UK readers of appearances of Kathryn work.

Normally the film appears on BBC 1, which would mean an HD broadcast for the first time, but this year it gets bumped over to BBC 2 and not simultaneously shown on BBC HD. Hang your head in shame Auntie

Oh well. BBC 2 this coming Friday (aka Good Friday), 6th of April 2012 at 11:15pm (11:40pm in Scotland). Full details can be found on the BBC website HERE. I understand that some of our neighbours on the continent may be able to see this as well

Based on a Philip K Dick story and released in 2002, Minority Report is about John Anderson and his fight to prove his own innocence after being identified as a future killer by the Pre-Crimes Police squad he works for. Kathryn plays John’s estranged wife who he turns to for help. Kathryn’s role is relatively small, Samantha Morton takes the more prominent co-star role, but it is important, especially towards the end.

Kathryn @ Resurrecting The Champ Première – Jan 2007 – Update x2

Kathryn made further appearances on day 3 (Kathryn’s 2nd) of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

I should start out by saying that the image above is not part of this update. It is part of a portrait session for the cast of Resurrecting The Champ and it did happen on the same day. As much as I’d love to post an update on it, and savour every extra pixel, I did that last July with the largest versions available No, I’ve used it because it is my favourite Kathryn photo and I don’t need much of an excuse to post it

Along with the photoshoot, the 20th of January 2007 saw Kathryn attend another of those product promotional events, this time at the Marquee Lounge, the Resurrecting The Champ première and after party (8 new images), and another promo event at the Heineken Green Room. In total we have 21 more images across the three events.

Update: An additional photo from a Q&A at the première was added just after this article was posted. The image has since been upgraded to one much greater size.

Kathryn @ Sundance Film Festival Day 2 – Jan 2007

A quick update following on from the previous one about day 2 of the Sundance Film Festival in 2007.

We are still on the same day as the Village At The Lift Lounges event but this time Kathryn’s caught on camera out and about on Park City’s Main Street. You can just about make out the same grey top she was wearing in the Lounges under her coat and scarf.

Sadly it is just one smallish image (now to be found in the Gallery) but when it is of such a beautiful lady smiling so much who can possibly resist 😀

Kathryn @ Harry Potter Japanese Première – June 2007

Cold Case might be big in Japan. Kathryn might be big in Japan. However, in June of 2007 Kathryn’s dresses certainly weren’t

The day before the Cold Case promo event in Tokyo (posted about last month), in which Kathryn wore a very slight number, she was strutting her stuff on the red carpet in something of similar surface area. Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, which I believe was the 5th in the enormously successful series, received its world-wide première in Japan on June 28th 2007, almost a week before the UK event. Am I the only person in the world to have never read an HP book?

Our look back through 2007 has had a multitude of recurring themes (Resurrecting The Champ, premières, Cold Case, festivals and motor sport amongst them). Now we have to add short dresses. With this event, the Cold Case promo, the Monte Carlo TV Festival reception, the Vegas GP Gala and the Resurrecting The Champ première it must have been one of the shortest years on record!

Anyway, Kathryn looks great with her hair up in her very complicatedly colourful dress. Very glam.

Cold Case S04E04 – Baby Blues Full HD Screencaps

Last year’s KM UK Summer of HD covering season 4 of Cold Case had a few gaps in it. One of those gaps was episode 4, Baby Blues.

The PPD’s ME, Frannie, makes a rare appearance in this one, nearly her last in fact. Frannie brings an old case to the squad regarding the death of a 6 month old baby. As if this case bringing up some issues related to her own neglected childhood aren’t enough, Lilly has to contend with ‘motorcycle man’ Ray playing the old ‘I’m in hospital’ card. What a rookie move, it’s the oldest trick in the book. Worked though 😕

Lilly’s hair-do falls into the the just got out of… the rain style this episode 😉
