Returning to our 2007 theme we jump from a cold January in Utah at the Sundance Film Festival to a significantly warmer Los Angeles in September. Things have indeed got a little hotter 😉
This, the first of a couple of updates we will have from the 59th Annual Primetime Emmys, we look back at the arrivals or red carpet. “Back” is very much the theme of the photos too.
I’m sure you all remember Kathryn’s amazing red dress with plunging front and the ribbon criss-crossing her back. Just a tug away from… disaster/triumph.*

The pictures are wonderful,I had to chuckle just a bit at Kathryn, in the pic where she’s pulling at the back of her dress in an effort to adjust it, as though she may have thought no one will see me.
RichE,I was wondering if u knew,is there a story behind the tat on Kathryn’s right shoulder blade? U seem to know more about Kathryn then we American’s do! lol
That is a funny pic. I doubt she thought that no-one would see, she was on the red carpet after all
I can’t claim exclusive knowledge of Kathryn’s tattoo. She explained it on a chat show back in 2008. You can watch a video of it in the Gallery HERE. They start discussing it about 3:45 in.
In brief it is a tribute to an agent she had when she first moved to Hollywood. He helped her in those early years and clearly means a lot to her.

The pic comment was meant to be a more tongue-n-cheek reference,a little humor there! Just like the pic of the elderly man,who clearly seems to be staring at Kathryn,the one where her back is to us! lol

There’s another guy, a bit younger, with sunglasses who has managed to get himself into several of the shots. They are also ones where Kathryn has her back to us. He must prefer the front
The younger guy your referring to, if its the same one I’m thinking is a security person. There was a time I worked red carpet events as a security person. Sometimes it can’t be helped & u get your picture taken. There are some celebrities that get pissed at u,even tho your there to protect them. Go figure!
