Happy Valentine’s Day
Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. Look, I really didn’t want to have to do this so publicly but I’m left with little choice. As a man of honour I’m sure you respect the will of the people. Last year I ran a small poll to gauge their wishes regarding this matter of the heart. Yes, I created the poll but took no further part. Anyone and everyone had the option of voting. I was well aware that some of those who might vote were not looking for the same outcome I was.
Despite all that, I won. That means that Kathryn has to be my Valentine, not yours. I don’t think we have any other choice, do we?

Oh well, I tried, but I fear that that may not work, but Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone else.

Update (16th Feb): At some time yesterday Johnny Messner (Kathryn’s partner) favourited the Tweet I’d sent to promote this post. I’m not sure what to make of that, but I’m going to go ahead and assume it is a sign of agreement with the whole “Kathryn gets to be my Valentine” thing. Yay me!
Update 2 (17th Feb): In a further shock development Johnny favourited my Tweet about the previous update! What does this mean?
