It Was A Year Ago Today

Cold Case title imageAs IcyWinter has just reminded us in a comment in the previous post it is a year ago today (2nd May 2010) that CBS aired the final ever episodes of Cold Case in the USA.  A minute’s silence please.

Thanks IcyWinter.

    *moment of silence*

I could definitely dedicate T-Swift’s “Haunted” to the moment I found out Cold Case wasn’t being renewed.

    The most relevant lines:
“Come on, come on, don’t leave me like this” – That ending was a little janky, we never got too much closure. :p
“He might try to take away my pain, and he just might make me smile, but the whole time I’m wishing he was you instead” – If “he” was “other T.V. shows. (:

I find so many connections to Cold Case in songs… it’s almost awkward… :p Hahaha! 😀

It actually wasn’t that bad, it left it open for the fans to decide. In a way that’s good, I knew that Season Seven was going to be the very last season when it first started.

Clearly it already was showing signs of ” Jumping the shark,” repeated storylines, etc…. Too bad that Kathryn never got the emmy that she deserved. I think that Cold Case would have done better on another station from the very beginning.

Oh well, glad there’s always re-runs either on tnt or the CW network. To this day, CBS does not show any re-runs of Cold Case, figures right.

@Lolly- Though I never heard of the song, the lyrics don’t actually match up to the finale, from what you had posted. No offence I don’t see the connection.

I was going for the moment I found out it wasn’t renewed, not the finale.

Any news yet about when Season 7 is going to be aired in the UK? We’re still waiting. I’ve watched every CC since is started, only for Sky not to pick up the very last Season.
