The French really do like Kathryn don’t they? And why wouldn’t they, she’s amazing.
KM UK makes another trip across the Channel to bring back van load of loveliness in the shape of another magazine article and interview. Not so much a booze cruise as a publication pilgrimage 
Télé Star magazine steps up with a short interview with Kathryn to help promote the launching of Cold Case season 7 on the channel France 2.

Kathryn Morris“La fin de Cold Case me red triste” À 41 ans, Kathryn Morris a dit adieu a Lilly Rush, son personnage fétiche. Cold Case vient de se terminer aux États-Unis. La comédienne se dit attristée, mais elle songe déjà à l’avenir TÉLÉ STAR: À la fin de la saison 7, Cold Case s’arrête définitivement. Comment vivez-vous cette décision? KATHRYN MORRIS: Nous avions encore tant d’histoires à raconter, tant d’épisodes à jouer. D’autant que lors de cette dernière saison. les scénaristes et producteurs avaient pas mal chamboulé les choses, notamment dans les dix derniers épisodes. Pour insuffler encore plus d’énergie aux enquêtes. Cela donnait un coup de jeune à la série. Cela veut dire que vous avez des regrets? KM: C’est très rare de participer à une série qui dure sept ans. J’ai toujours dit qu’il y avait quelque chose de magique autour de Cold Case: le concept, la distribution, la manière de travailler avec toute cette équipe. Je suis donc un peu triste, c’est normal! Mais je suis une grande optimiste et je pense déjà au futur. Quel est pour vous l’épisode le plus émouvant parmi les plus de 150 que vous avez tournés? KM: Les deux demiers de la saison 6 furent certainement les plus émouvants à jouer. D’abord parce qu’il y a un flash-back qui se passe au moment où j’entre dans la police. Et aussi parce que Lilly, mon personnage, est entre la vie et la mort. Mais je ne vous en dis pas plus, si vous ne les avez pas vus… Le plus drôle, ça a été de voir la fille de mon compagnon, David (elle vit avec le réalisateur David Barrett, ndlr), tenir mon rôle, enfant. (Elle sourit.) Pouvez-vous nous révéler d’autres informations sur les tout derniers épisodes? KM: Cette année, Lilly va devoir faire des choix personnels. Elle va se demander ce qu’elle souhaite faire à long terme. Ce sera peut-être l’occasion pour elle de sortir du chemin qu’elle s’était tracé depuis des années. Maintenant que vous n’avez plus la pression du tournage, pensez-vous au manage? KM: Je suis une femme moderne et en même temps très traditionnelle, plutôt romantique. Beaucoup d’Américaines grandissent en rêvant d’un mariage comme celui de Cendrillon. Moi, ma vie ressemble déjà à un conte de fées. Mariage ou pas, je suis avec David depuis huit ans et c’est rare, surtout à Hollywood! Kathryn Morris“The end of Cold Case makes me sad” At age 41, Kathryn Morris says farewell Lilly Rush, her popular character. Cold Case has just ended in the US. The actress says she is saddened, but she was already thinking about the future TÉLÉ STAR: At the end of Season 7, Cold Case stops permanently. How do you cope with this decision? KATHRYN MORRIS: We still had so many stories to tell, so many episodes to make. Especially since in this last season the writers and producers had changed a lot things, especially in the last ten episodes to inject even more energy investigations. This gave a facelift to the series. This means that you have regrets? KM: It’s very rare to have a series that lasts seven years. I always said that there was something magical about Cold Case: the concept, distribution, how to work with any team. I’m a little sad, it’s normal! But I am a great optimist and I’m already thinking about the future. What do you consider the most moving episode of the more than 150 that you shot? KM: The 2 part finale of season 6 was certainly the most exciting to play. First, because a flashback happens when I go into the police. And also because Lilly, my character, is between life and death. But I shall say no more, if you have not seen… It was funny to see the daughter of my friend, David (she lives with director David Barrett, ed), take my role as a child. (She smiles.) Can you give us more information on the latest episodes? KM: This year, Lilly will have to make personal choices. She will ask what they want to do long term. This may be an opportunity for her to leave the path she had marked out for years. Now that you no longer have the pressure of filming, do you think of marriage? KM: I’m a modern woman and at the same time very traditional, rather romantic. Many Americans grow up dreaming of a wedding like Cinderella. For me, my life already looks like a fairy tale. Wedding or not, I’ve been with David for eight years and that is rare, especially in Hollywood! It’s sad that Kathryn is no longer with David, I thought they looked so cute together. Hopefully she’ll find someone, I’m happy that she is happy with her life, that’s the most important thing
As for the end of the series, I was wondering what she thought of it. Since no one decided to interview her here, or anywhere else after the series was cancelled. I do thank the French magazine for asking that question

@Niiny- Your right, She started dating David at the beginning of Season Four
That line about being together 8 years has been used before referring to Kathryn and Randy. Errors in the details like that do make me wonder how much of these interviews are based on an actual interview, and how much has been pieced together from other bits.
Or the fact that the writer didn’t have the accurate information. The interview above, was probably written after the cancellation of Cold Case due to the fact that it mentions her just finished filming of “Moneyball.”
While the other interview only mentioned; Mother’s little helpers. That interview had to be done before May, b/c it doesn’t mention her newest movie.
There’s a lot of inaccuracy in newpapers as wells as things such as this. Most writers will do their research, but as well as a simple mistake. The editors sometimes will miss things or the writer doesn’t have time to redo something, due to a deadline.
To me it’s not a big deal, we fans know that Kathryn and David were together for four years. She herself has stated it, with numerous interviews to back that up.
I personally wouldn’t worry…. I’m just happy that this article asked about the ending of the show. Because not even tvguide or other sources even asked any of the cast.
I’m not worried but it is presented as a quote, something Kathryn apparently said in answer to a question. She’s not going to have said that in the past few months.
There is mention of Moneyball on the page, not within the interview. That just means the page was put together recently, not surprising for a weekly publication.
Back in April on the Wendy William’s show, Kathryn did state she was with a new man. Could it be possible that she and David are back to together, yet even if this was just a quote it could just be an error.
