Lilly Must Be Home Before Midnight?

Cold_Case_S04E15_lilly_006I don’t normally post general CC news here but these were too good to pass up.

Louie’s back!  That has to be the best CC news in ages.

And, we are getting Lilly in a dress!  At a wedding!  Could these two things be related?  Does Cinderella get to go to the ball?  Read on to find out.

This involves spoilers so I’ll post the info after the jump.  You can also read the article over on TV Guide Magazine website here, along with some other news on upcoming episodes.

Thanks to IcyWinter and Spoiler TV for the heads up.

Cold Case Casting Scoop!

By William Keck – January 13, 2010 04:53 PM EST

Cold Case’s Lilly had best get ready to rumble. Professional wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, 55, will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the CBS crime drama, reveals series star Kathryn Morris. “We’re doing a wrestling episode starring Rowdy Roddy Piper and he’s the best!,” says Kathryn. “He’s playing a wrestler named Sweet Sil. And he’s been such a great sport. Do you know how much fun it is for me to smack down Rowdy in the interrogation room – which is my wrestling ring.”

This is hardly Rowdy Roddy’s first guest stint on a series, having previously appeared on Superboy, Silk Stalkings, Highlander, RoboCop, Walker Texas Range and just last year, he popped up in an episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Also appearing on an upcoming Cold Case will be Doug Spinuzza, who has been recurring since 2005 as bomb expert Louie Amante. And this time he’ll be toting a bride. “He invites us all to his wedding,” says Kathryn. “But we find out that one year before, his bride was left at the alter by a groom who is now dead!”

The episode’s biggest shocker concerns Kathryn’s wardrobe. Expect Lilly to ditch her pants to attend Louie’s wedding in a glamorous emerald gown. Says the tickled actress, “I get all dolled up!”

The last part is referring to 7X15- Two Weddings, While the first part is about 7X16 ( For anyone that might be confused).

  • her smile is so sweet in that picture :)
i am soo excited to see her all dressed up 😀
ive always wondered why they’ve never had her try a ‘girly phase’ on the show..
    cant wait for sunday :)

  • Yes, sorry Tianna it will be a bit of a wait I’m afraid. Assuming I’m reading things correctly, after this Sunday (17th Jan, ep 12) we don’t get another new CC until the 14th of February. So at the earliest it will be at the very end of Feb before we see the wedding episode.

  • damn :(
my heart just broke a little ..
    ahaha!

RichE, anything planned for Kathryn’s birthday? :)
    lmfao

    • Well let’s see… Kathryn’s birthday is on the 28th, which is a Thursday, so I’ll probably be at work as normal. Oh, you mean anything for KM UK! :-)

I’m sure I’ll post something, but exactly what I’m not sure yet. I’m open to suggestions and assistance.

    What exciting news 😉
Hopefully the time goes by fast until the end of februrary or so.

  • Did anyone else get to the last paragraph of the article and just sort of stop part way through 😉

Of course the word pants is used slightly differently in the UK from the US. But either would be good 😉

According to CBSpressexpress.com, this episode will air on Feb 28th. So be prepared to see Lilly all dolled up, during this episode titled, ” Two Weddings.”

    • Thanks IcyWinter. Being on the wrong side of the pond I can’t access that site at all. We need stills! I haven’t seen any episode stills for a while now. Do none get released for CC these days?

Looking forward to seeing Lilly in a wedding dress, as in a dress she wears to a wedding, not a “wedding dress” 😉
