Cold Case S07E17 – Flashover Screencaps

Cold_Case_S07E17_lilly_169The financial crisis comes to Cold Case with TARP issues featuring strongly 😉

A good episode packed with lots of drama and lots of Nick, which is rarely a bad thing.  But is this the end for the big lug?

245 new HD (720p) screencaps exclusive to this site are now in the Gallery.

TVFan’s review is up over on Pass The Remote, she’s got her issues with it.

A preview video for next episode The Last Drive-In has been added to the Gallery.

OMG… in the promo, did she just call Lilly “the bleach queen”?
    *dies laughing*

This episode reminded me of ” Officer Down,” for a lot of reason. Nice flashback to ” Iced”, with Vera taking that table nap

    • It was The Runaway Bunny and it looks like the one in Flashover was actually a different recording. It was not an actual repeat of the one from The Runaway Bunny. The camera angles are different.

It could have been a different take filmed at the time but there are detailed differences, such as Kat’s hair appears to be longer in the newer one. It is a very good match though.

  • OK, I’ve got a question or two about the shooting and broadcast schedules for the remaining episodes of CC season 7. I’ve seen some of this raised elsewhere.

Sonita Henry said via Twitter when she was on her last day of shooting (no pun intended) for Bullet, episode 19. This was in late February. Even if there were more scenes to be filmed that she wasn’t involved in that probably wouldn’t push the episode’s main production much beyond the end of the month, if that.

Young actor Frank Wallace (@FrankWallace93 ) Tweeted a week ago that he had a guest role covering 3 episodes. The 3 episode claim is a surprise. It could be a mistake, we don’t often see characters return that much. He was in LA a few days later and seemed to get involved in some filming. Later messages suggested that it was a script read-through instead. Frank’s message of yesterday (Sunday) saying he’ll be back “next week” could mean this week, perhaps late on, or actually next week. It depends on his take on the start of the week.

And does Frank mean episodes 20, 21 and 22 when he says 3 episodes? Or is 22 counting as two episodes in this instance? If Frank actually does mean next week then and the three final episodes 21-22 it doesn’t give the squad very long before the first of them airs. And when was Free Love filmed? If it was straight after Bullet or just last week and this week it means a substantial gap in filming recently.

2nd point. CBS put out press releases last month about two upcoming events on Sunday nights. The first is the Country Music Awards on the 18th of April and on the 25th is the film When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story. Dunno, me neither. Both of those will cover the 10-11pm slot that Cold Case has been relegated to of late.

So, that leaves us with an issue. Episodes 18-20 will be on on the next 3 Sundays, sport allowing. Then it’s the CMAs. Then the film. The Sunday after that is 2nd of May which is the date currently down as having the 2 hour finale. Notice anything missing?

Where is episode 21, Paradise Lost, going to fit in?

According to the futon critic episodes 21 and 22 will be together, since it’s a two hour episode, starting at 9pm.

I don’t think that they are done filming CC as of yet, as for Paradise lost I don’t think it’s going to be that episode, since the finale’s episode title for episodes 21 and 22 are called, “Shattered.”
