Some interesting turns of events in this one. I don’t think we can call the images spoilerish on those fronts though, as usual, an image late in the set does tell you the doer in this case.

I managed to read this article about Daniel Baldwin and his character Moe before watching the episode so the ending wasn’t a shock.
It’s an interest way of doing things. Having expected this to run and run, an early episode referred to a trial in May, it is a surprise they’ve done this. Of course it doesn’t mean the repercussions of Lilly’s actions won’t continue, they clearly will. Doing it this way means they don’t actually have to pay Daniel to act the part whilst still getting the effect of his character existing. A money saving scheme? They haven’t exactly skimped on special guests this season. I wonder if that was the plan all along. It doesn’t seem that Daniel knew far in advance.
Interesting how they say it will be resolved next week. Does this mean the end of the whole Moe/Lilly arc so soon?
I get the impression that Daniel is not happy about it, he seems a little bitter. The comment about “if they really wanted a season eight” suggests a certain arrogance on his part, but there may be some truth in it.

They so should have made him kidnap her! It would have been like the George thing, but better! I think the Moe/Lilly thing is a bit dry. He’s only tried to kill her once. She just keeps going back at him.
Anyways kidnapping would have been AMAZING. Then he would try to man handle her! Then he’d try to rape her! THEN.. she’d kick his ass 😉 Ahahaha! I’m getting SO carried away here.

I wish I hadn’t read the Baldwin interview beforehood… it’s definitely a better turn for this storyline, even if I can understand the actor’s frustration.
Was anyone else puzzled by Lilly’s behavior? She was not very nice to Bell (to say the least) and then the staring scene with Moe was VERY creepy. How can the season/serie end well with both Scotty and Lilly on such path?
Nothing’s still official about the fate of the show, I think Baldwin was just angry about his character’s storyline not being continued. I doubt he knows the fate of the show..
This episode was pretty good, I really enjoyed it..
I have a feeling it’s Saccardo. If it was Lilly, that would ruin the show…and I dont think another member of the team would do that, unless Scotty. But that would also ruin the show if they investigated it, and one of them went to jail. So I’m sure it’s Saccardo.
It’s not Saccardo, he gave Lilly the gun remember. Why would he come from undercover to shoot Moe, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I’m really getting sick of everyone bashing him..
Clearly it’s been Lilly all along that’s been putting this plan into action. She probably asked him for the gun, she turned to her darkside when Moe was released.
Yes I would be angry about if it was Lilly, but come on who else would shoot Moe, besides her?? No one he didn’t kill Kate Butler back in 6X22-6×23, her killer is already in prison..
I understand why the shippers feel that way, but understand the real facts, it’s not Saccardo period. Lilly did it, she’s been wanting to kill him the whole season..
Im not bashing him. I just have a feeling its him. Yes, Lilly stalked him, but Saccardo gave her a gun, and its kinda obvious she could do something with it, so it’s utterlu stupid to give it to him. And she hasn’t done anything with it, I’m sure Saccardo know’ that.
I can’t see it being Lilly. That would ruin the ending of the show. It has to be someone else. Im staying with Saccardo.
Firstly IcyWinter, please calm down.
Secondly, saying it is Eddie is not bashing him. He is one of the logical choices based on everything we’ve been shown this season. Eddie clearly cares for Lilly and wants to protect her and make sure she can protect herself.
Let’s go through what we actually know, no coulda/shoulda/woulda speculation, just what we have seen:
– Lilly is angry that Moe was released on bail.
– Moe was rather threatening towards Lilly.
– Eddie got Lilly the gun.
– Eddie told Lilly that in her situation he would use the gun.
– Lilly was surprised and uncomfortable about the gun.
– Lilly said she’d thrown the gun out but kept it.
– Lilly has been harassing Moe.
– Moe is dead.
What we don’t know yet is how Moe died. We’ve seen him slumped forward on the steering wheel with his head turned to one side. That is likely largely for the dramatic effect of the camera shot. The show will have to make the method of death fit that or when we seem him next (if we do) then they will change it to better match the described method of death.
There is blood at the top of the windscreen (windshield) suggesting an upward shot. Either that is an from under the chin shot or the gun was fired from the back seat. None of the car windows were broken.
If they go CSI on us and we get to the see the crime scene I will not be surprised if the details are changed. It was done for dramatic effect but may not work to fit the story they want to tell.
With all that in mind I would say there are 3 main suspects: Lilly, Eddie and Moe.
The rest of the squad haven’t really been involved in the Moe situation since they left the court after the bail hearing. Stillman has spoken to Lilly about it but Scotty hasn’t really said anything.
So, if I were to throw in a fourth possible suspect it would be Stillman. He’s been looking after Lilly for years. He knows what has been going on. Getting rid of Moe solves her problems, as long as it can be done in a way that doesn’t come back to her too much. He may want her to be put through the wringer a bit to teach her a lesson though. He has the knowledge and skill to off Moe without anyone knowing.
As unpalatable as it is Lilly is the obvious choice, but I can’t see them going down that route.
I don’t remember whether Moe is still married but if he is, I would add the wife to the pool of suspects. Maybe she saw him with the girl in the bar too!

I do not want to think that may have been Lilly or any other team member. And if any of them has been hope that they have killed in self defense, if not they would have serious problems.

I’m going to wait until the next few episodes, I just an annoyed one how so many people think it’s Saccardo, just because he gave her the gun. That doesn’t mean anythings.. I’m going to remain mum until we actually see who does it…

There was no uproar. I am more than happy for you to voice your thoughts and opinions. I appreciate you taking the time to post here. It’s just that your response came off a little strong, that’s all. I know Eddie comes in for a bashing from many, which is OK, and you are keen to defend him, also OK.
Eddie being possibly involved is a logical conclusion to make based on what we know.
We’ll just have to wait and see. We don’t even know the full circumstances of his death yet.
Not that I hate Saccardo, he do not like, but do not hate him, I just want to be him because I have a great disappointment if the murderer was Lilly, Scotty and Stillman
I just thought of something, what if the shooter was Finn? Perhaps Lilly told him about Moe and out of protection he shoots Moe to protect his older sister.
I just thought with Finn getting into trouble, taking their dad’s car, could be a setup for him killing Moe.
Possibly a bit of a stretch but an interesting an idea none the less IcyW.
On a less serious note what about Cooper’s wife? During the meal Lilly went to she was all about them being a family and here is her new daughter in distress. You know what they say about a mother protecting her offspring…
I can’t see Celeste even doing that, perhaps it’s Lilly’s father.

WOW, the writers already did a great job on this one. It sounds like there are so many different options of “who could be the doer”. I think I speak for everyone when I say I just love it when its that tricky to find out. If you know the murderer from the very beginning it’s boring.
So my prediction is ;-): I have that feeling that it’s someone Moe knew and let that person inside his car. It doesn’t necessary have do be someone WE know. Obviously it doesn’t look good for Lilly but I can’t see her beeing the doer, too.
OMG, can’t wait for the next episode.
@Carrie- About the feeling that it was someone that Moe knew about could trust inside his car, I do have a strong feeling it might be someone we don’t know, probably someone in his own personal life.
That would really be a much better storyline than having another cop or Lilly shooting him…

I think this gives us an additional suspect that makes real sense. I’m not saying they definitely did it though.
I remember reading that awhile ago, it could be quite possible. We’ll see how it goes on Sunday..
As I posted over on Pass The Remote the other day I’d seen a comment elsewhere about old spoilers for this season now being wrong due to Moe being killed soon than previously planned. I don’t think that is quite right but I wonder if the above story is the one that was being referred to. Just because the character is dead doesn’t mean Moe won’t appear. There’s his dead body at the crime scene for a start and we’ll likely get flashbacks of what happened too.

I think we can rule out Christina, her storyline was dropped back in S2. She’s still running from the law, and talking to Lil wouldn’t be on her list…
I like the twist of Christina coming back. Id loved to see Lilly punch her in the face
It doesn’t seem even remotely logical for Christina to kill Moe, a man she doesn’t even know…
Then again the writers did a great job of keep us all in suspense…
