Episode real life event references:
The Philadelphia World Fair of 1926 was a real event. Obviously none of the characters featured in this episode are based on any real people associated with the fair. I tried to be as accurate as I could, and many of the issues mentioned were real – such as the Temperance Union protesting against the fair being open on Sundays. Please forgive me for any creative liberties I may have made.
