Chuck Palahniuk‘s “Snuff” film has found financing through Immortal Transmedia, the London-based production house led by producers Jean Pierre Magro and Dean O’Toole.
Duo has overseen the production on projects including Matthew Vaughn’s “Kick Ass,” Harmony Korine’s “Mister Lonely” and upcoming UK sitcoms “The Midnight Beast” and “PLEBS.”
Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworm has come on to produce along with Magro and O’Toole. Also producing are Golan Ramras, who co-wrote the script with “Snuff” helmer Fabien Martorell, who recently wrapped docu “The Guns Story.”
“Snuff” takes place during a porn priestess’ attempt to have sex with 600 men on-camera. Pic is told from the perspective of three of those men in a story of love and redemption.
Palahniuk, the bestselling author of “Fight Club,” is famous for his often extreme subject matter. His other works include “Diary,” “Survivor” and “Lullaby,” the latter of which centers around a children’s song that kills.
