The Official Kathryn Morris Facebook page and Twitter feed was up late last night. It must have been bit tired and confused because it did something very uncharacteristic: posted some news. It has been almost exactly a year since the last output.
And what pearl of wisdom did the apparently official mouthpiece of the actress, which you’d think would have direct access to said mouth, have to bestow upon us mere mortals? Kathryn’s pregnant. With twins. Something I believe was widely reported when Us Magazine and father-to-be Johnny Messner himself broke the news back in… ooh, when was it now… early April.
Let’s hope, for Kathryn’s sake, that the babies’ arrival is not so delayed.
Give it a few months and “they” will probably tell us about Kathryn signing up for the been, done and gone Surgeon General pilot (early March), or producing and starring in the forthcoming movie project Alice Sweet Alice (news from mid-April).
Of course you can get all this information in a much more timely fashion on one of the several Facebook pages that gets their content from this site. Or save yourself a click by coming straight to KM UK.
On a connected note: a few weeks ago the Official KM website went into under construction “we’ll be back” mode. Expecting a major revamp it was a surprise to see the site return some days later with just a picture, a contact form and a couple of links. All in the same style as before.
As those behind the Official sites were also responsible for promoting Cougars, Inc. we have nothing to worry about…
For those on the East coast and Central regions The Sweeter Side Of Life will have just about finished. The West coasters will have to wait just a little longer. Once you’ve seen it please let us know what you thought with a comment below.
Below is a poll for you to give us a quick reaction to the movie. Was the movie the sweetest thing you ever did see, or had it gone stale before its time?
If you come over all creative and wish to write a more comprehensive critique of the film then please contact us and we’ll put together a special review page for any submissions.
Update (3 February 2013): After two weeks we’ve closed the poll. It was the biggest poll we’ve done with more voters than ever before. As you can see below it was a landslide for the likes with only a few remaining to be convinced. No one went for the hate it option. Thank you to everyone that took part.
The clothing company Linea Pelle has published via Twitter the picture you see on the right of Kathryn on the set of the new movie 2 Br/1 Ba.
This is the first peek we’ve had of Kathryn’s look in this film, despite other cast and crew posting several photos from behind the scenes. It’s certainly an interesting dress.
Kathryn plays Olivia, the assistant to a wealth couple, who has to talk to the two lead female characters that share an apartment.
The accompanying Tweet said:
@lineapelle: Kathryn Morris look great on the set of her new movie with her Dylan Medium Tote. #lineapelle #dmt – Link
Plus there was a link to Instagram with the photo. It has now been added to the KM UK Gallery.
We expect to have more very soon.
Thank you to Linea Pelle for posting the photo.
Update: Costumer Christina Matthews has been kind enough to pass along to KM UK a slightly larger version of same the photo which has been added to the Gallery. Thank you to her. It is a bit darker but gives a full head-to-toe shot.
Update 2: Christina Matthews has told me the following: “shes wearing a Ted Baker dress, Donna Karan vintage belt & a Linea Pelle bag and her glasses are her own!” Thanks to her for that. I think it might be the “BARDOE – Feather print dress”.
If you haven’t done so yet please go and read the earlier post about “Heather Coxx” and the time she met Kathryn. It’s an entertaining, if slightly hard going, read.
Once you have read it you’ll no doubt quickly work out that it is in fact Grade-D b******t. It is certainly not worthy of an ‘A’.
In the tradition of exams I will show my working out:
When I first added the photo you see on the right to the Gallery it was done so attached to an article about the Cold Case season 4 episode 22: Cargo. It was part of the KM UK Summer Of HD 2011.
Heather’s Twitter account bio reads:
I’m Heather from Cincinnati, 16 years old and proud ginger (even dyed my hair more red). Model. Kathryn Morris is my idol, met her 23-07-’07♥ (see [the image above])
Do you see it?
The date “23-07-’07″ in the bio is not in the American Month-Day-Year format yet Heather claims to be from Cincinnati (a word she often misspells).
Cargo was broadcast for the first time on the 15th April 2007, three months before “Heather” claims the photo was taken. Any filming in late July would more likely be for the first episodes of the next season, and is probably a little too early for that anyway. Cargo was most likely filmed in March or April.
Everyone meet Heather. Heather, everyone. Everyone, Heather. She’s the one on the right.
“Heather Coxx” is someone KM UK met on Twitter. She has a story about meeting Kathryn and she agreed to write about it and share it with us all.
So, without further ado here is Heather in her own words:
I’m Heather Coxx, sixteen years old and born and raised in Cincinatti. I follow my lessons at the Walnut Hills High School and I’m one of the cheerleaders there!
Well, I became a fan of Kathryn Morris seven years ago, when I was nine. On a boring Sunday I watched my First Cold Case episode ever, ‘Committed’. I really liked it and couldn’t wait until the next Sunday. But when I saw ‘A Perfect Day’ I start to love Kathryn. She is an amazing actress. I wanted to know everything about her and saved every photo from her on my dads computer. I was a kind of little stalker I guess and people on school called me ‘obsessed’. Continue reading »
