Leading the pack again, KM UK can bring you 4 large sized images from the same photoshoot.  The one you’ve all seen and three new images .  All of them fantastic!  For now I am going to call them the Official KM Photoshoot.

Beyond the fact that the photoshoot appears to have taken place on the 16th of April 2010 little is known about it at this stage.  However, that date ties in exactly with makeup artist Carlene K‘s Tweet from then about doing a photoshoot with Kathryn.  You can read about that HERE.  Looking at the comments posted by our readers at the time (and a few months later) Nscha in particular will be relieved finally see evidence of the shoot

Mark Mainz is responsible for this great photoshoot, done as part of a promotion for the film Resurrecting The Champ at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007.  The 15 images have been in the Gallery since the beginning but they have now been upgraded to full-size.  It’s not a big change but every extra pixel counts

Kathryn, Denise Richards, Rebecca Mader, Catalina Rodriguez and Kyle Gallner all participated in the photoshoot done by Steven Taylor back in November last year.  We were lucky enough to get a few shots from the set at the time and we got to see behind the scenes video footage from the shoot a few months ago.

A few other shots have appeared over time but this is a more complete set and much larger and higher quality than we’ve seen before.  There must be more (we saw a very interesting pose with Kathryn and Kyle in the video) so hopefully we’ll get to see them soon.

Photographer Steven Taylor, who did the Cougars, Inc. photoshoot we saw images from late last year that makes up the cover art work for the DVD/Blu-ray releases of the movie, [...]]]> We may have been disappointed by the lack of Kathryn at the Oscars but I think this may make up for it.  A lot!

Photographer Steven Taylor, who did the Cougars, Inc. photoshoot we saw images from late last year that makes up the cover art work for the DVD/Blu-ray releases of the movie, has put a behind the scenes video from the shoot on YouTube.  And it is quite a sight to behold for us Kathryn fans.

The video shows the ladies of the movie Kathryn, Denise Richards, Rebecca Mader and Catalina Rodriguez and Kyle Gallner posing for photos.

Kathryn appears in two photos.  The second is the same as the preview image we’ve already [...]]]> The previously reported iApp of the M: Mermaids Of Hollywood book by the photographer Mark Anderson is now available in the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad for the princely sum of 59p (99 cents US).

Kathryn appears in two photos.  The second is the same as the preview image we’ve already seen, there is nothing more to it than that.  The first, as previewed above, is a wider shot of Kathryn hiding behind the same fishing equipment.  She has very dark lipstick and wet hair.  We do get to see her tail (which looks a little Photoshopped on).  It is a little disappointing compared to the images of some of the other ladies, as this past year has seen Kathryn be far bolder on camera, but it still good to see.

Update: Looking back at the ‘Making of…’ video shows that the half-a-fish the ladies are wearing is quite a basic wrapping around their legs with a tail shape on the end.  The fish scales and details on the tail have been Photoshopped on later, that explains the odd look to Kathryn’s image I mentioned before.

Update 2: Mark Anderson has posted a recent Entertainment Tonight segment about the Mermaids photoshoots on YouTube.  The first of Kathryn’s photos (as previewed above) appears very briefly 30 seconds in.

Update 4: A recent update (v1.1) to the app has added iPod touch support. iPod touch compatibility was claimed for v1.0 but it always crashed for me. It now works.

Update 5: Make-up artist CarleneK has let it be known via Twitter that she did Kathryn’s make-up for this shoot, it is how they first met.  The beginning of a beautiful friendship (see what I did there?)

Last night (18 November 2010) Denise Richards kindly posted a photo (see right) on Twitter for everyone to see of the ladies of MLH (herself, Kathryn, Catalina Rodriguez and Rebecca Mader) posing for a photoshoot.  Earlier, Denise had posted a photo of herself and Rebecca Mader together and mentioned a photoshoot.  I  suspected it might be for MLH,

As you can see Kathryn is wearing a short, black, sleeveless dress and a bit of a frown   I’m sure this was just a brief drop of the smile between photos or it is something in-character to match events in the film.
